Is this template free?
Yes. RicoFast is MIT-licensed and free for both personal and commercial use. Fork it, ship with it, sell what you build on top of it — no attribution required.
Do I need to know Astro to use it?
Basic HTML/CSS familiarity is enough. The template is structured so the first 90% of customization happens in three places: site.js, global.css tokens, and content directories. Most users ship without writing any new Astro components.
Can I customize the design system?
Yes. Colors, fonts, spacing, and border radii are all CSS custom properties defined in src/styles/global.css. The full token reference lives in docs/DESIGN.md so you always know what to change.
Where can I deploy it?
Anywhere that hosts static sites — Vercel, Netlify, Cloudflare Pages, GitHub Pages, AWS S3, or your own server. The build outputs a plain dist/ directory. Vercel and Netlify have one-click setup.
How fast is it really?
Lighthouse 95+ across Performance, Accessibility, Best Practices, and SEO on a fresh install. Astro ships zero JS by default — interactive bits load only where needed.
Is there support?
Yes — open an issue on GitHub. The repo is actively maintained and community contributions are welcome. The Pro/Enterprise tiers shown on the Pricing page are demo content for the template itself, not a paid plan for RicoFast.
